PROFILE

Dr. Abhinandan has received his education and worked at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh over 8 years and as part of the prestigious legacy, he was involved actively in clinical care, research and teaching.

He specializes in the field of Urology dealing with several Urologic problems ranging from kidney stone disease, male sexual problems and infertility, diseases of the prostate and its management to performance of complex reconstructive procedure for urethral stricture and uro-oncological surgeries. He is well trained and became a part of more than 300 Robotic assisted laparoscopic surgeries for Urological Cancers and complex reconstructive procedures during his residency in PGI, Chandigarh.

After completion of his super specialty training, he joined  as faculty in GGS medical college and hospital,Faridkot, Punjab  and established  Department of Urology. He participated extensively in teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students and performed more than 600 major urological surgeries solo over a period of two and half years there (radical nephrectomy,partial nephrectomy,radical cystectomy, radical prostatectomy ,pyeloplasty, urethroplasty and  PCNL to name a few).

 With clinical experience of over a decade, he also worked in Max Smart Super specialty Hospital,  Saket  and  Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram as Consultant Urology. He has presented various research papers and posters in national and international conferences and seven publications in his credit.
